Block Groups
Weighted block centroid methodology uses the smallest area which the US Census collects and tabulates data and provides demographics while capturing the distribution of the population.
Block Group Points
Each block group holds a certain number of points, which represent population. Each of these points holds a certain percentage of the total population of their block group.
Included Points
If your trade area includes a point then that point’s percentage of population is included in your final result. If no points from a block group are included no value is given for that block group.
